Reflexology: A Gift for Your Feet & Your Whole Body!!!

How kind are you to your feet? We call 'em our "dogs," but do we treat them as the beloved members of the family, like many do their furry friends?

Alice was certainly concerned about her feet as she grew taller and taller in the 2nd chapter of Lewis Carroll's famous tale:

"'Good-bye, feet!' (for when she looked down at her feet, they seemed to be almost out of sight, they were getting so far off). 'Oh, my poor little feet, I wonder who will put on your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I'm sure I shan't be able! I shall be a great deal too far off to trouble myself about you: you must manage the best way you can; —but I must be kind to them,' thought Alice, 'or perhaps they won't walk the way I want to go! Let me see: I'll give them a new pair of boots every Christmas.'

And she went on planning to herself how she would manage it. 'They must go by the carrier,' she thought; 'and how funny it'll seem, sending presents to one's own feet! And how odd the directions will look!'"

I see great wisdom in Alice's thinking. Just from the perspective of my feet carrying me every where I choose to go, it seems being nice to them is more of a necessity than a chore. Who needs feet talking back?

Did you know that every organ, gland and part of your body is mirrored on your feet? When there are challenges in your body they show up in your feet, and when your feet have been mistreated that well may show up in the rest of your body. Reflexology may be your perfect solution. You and your feet and all the rest of you may be ecstatically happy that you finish reading this post, and take the suggested "steps" to be kind to your feet!

With the beginning of a new year focus often turns to sustaining or improving your health. Consider the option available to you to treat yourself to an amazingly rejuvenating experience. Reflexology encourages every system of your body toward greater balance, inviting your whole being into a deep state of relaxation and allowing it to find its place of enchanced health and well being.

At Footsteps In Eden Reflexology we make sending gifts to your feet much less complicated than the steps Alice encountered in gifting hers. What's more it is a treat for not only your feet, but your whole body as well. What will reflexology do for you? Footsteps In Eden Reflexology Offering More Service Options in 2011

Re-evaluation on a continuing basis is absolutely necessary for a business owner wishing to thrive. My Memphis' area Reflexology business has been in process over the last few months. What began as an experiment in December, gave birth to a revamp of our services offered as we begin the New Year 2011.

Health & wellness plans are close to the heart of many of us. With a new year we also often bring a redifined focus in this area. Reflexology's benefits have such an abundant potential for helping to encourage the body toward healing from almost all health challenges. It is also considered by many to be the perfect therapy for maintaining health and wellness.

Since opening our doors in November of 2007, we have offered only an ultimate relaxation experience. With the above paragraph in mind, along with time constraints, budgets, and the individual's desire for choice, we have created 3 unique options for visits to Footsteps In Eden Reflexology. We have certainly kept what we believe to be the most wonderful experience and option, and definitely the best value.

A Little Touch of Eden:
30 Minute Session -- Especially designed for those with more limited time constraints, these sessions offer a spot of relaxation, health, and wellness. Enjoy a short escape to a place of stillness and refreshment.

An Oasis in Eden
60 Minute Session -- One definition of “oasis” includes this statement: “People actually accomplish more when they take time for short rests.” Our 60 minute sessions begin with hot moist aromatherapy infused foot wraps. You’ll find your body and mind quickly unwinding, bringing you into an oasis of relaxation and helping to encourage your body to greater balance, health, wellness, and rejuvenation.

OUR VERY BEST VALUE:
A Haven in Eden:
75 Minute Ultimate Experience -- Enhancing your experience with additional minutes of reflexology and relaxation, these sessions conclude with the touch of hot stone therapy and a second helping of hot moist aromatherapy infused foot wraps. Other luxurious touches may be included.

My work is done from my home -- a park like setting in Bartlett, TN. All sessions are experienced in our warmly inviting relaxation room, purposely designed for enjoyment by all your senses.

Maternity Reflexology and "A Little Peace of Eden" Wedding Packages are also available.

Further information on reflexology, our services, and our fees for services may be found on our website: www.footstepsineden.com. The website is now, also, fully accessible from iPhone.

Footsteps In Eden Reflexology Featured In Buckley's Grill (Memphis) Newsletter

What a Christmas gift this was! On December 23rd, Buckley's (a wonderful local restaurant in Memphis TN) quarterly newsletter arrived in the mailboxes of 25,000+ homes. The gift (for me) was a full page article about Footsteps In Eden Reflexology. The article is available on the Footsteps In Eden website.

Written by a friend (much easier than tooting your own horn), this article has blessed the business tremendously; and, I pray, the community as well. Happy to take the opportunity here to share this good news with regular readers and those who may stumble upon this blog.

This full color, 35 page magazine is loaded with photos of restaurant guests, articles of all kinds, a few ads, and coupons. This issue contained such points of interest as "Make a Fan Cleaning Tool with Items You Already Have," a little history about the Scottish New Year, some inspiration on "Live Well in a Small Space," and a book review of THE MOLOTOV BOX by local Memphis author, Daniel Johnson; and much much more. You get the idea.

This little publication is a great big wonderful PR tool, and I feel privileged for my reflexology business to have been included! THANK YOU, Buckleys!
